Super Eagles target fails to inspire QPR to victory against Leeds

Eberechi Eze was on for Queens Park Rangers but his contributions were not enough to secure victory for the visitors who 2-0 to Leeds United at Elland Road in the English Championship on Saturday.

The 21-year-old who is on the Super Eagles sought after list played the entire match for Rangers who are ninth on the table from 15 matches.

Meanwhile Leeds Manager, Marcelo Bielsa praised the The Yorkshire giants for keeping another clean sheet which he said highlights their defensive strength.

He also commended Jack Harrison who got on the score-sheet after setting up the first goal.

“He is a left-winger that gives so much energy to the Leeds team and it seemed like he was all over the park against QPR.

“He did a lot of effort. He played on the left side, full-back, midfielder, winger. He defended and attacked as well. He scored the second goal and gave the pass for the first goal and he ran in the corridor a lot, attacking and defending,” Bielsa said, as quoted by Leeds Live.
