Zambia on the other hand lost controversially to South Africa and will be hoping to make something out of the third place match. Many say it will be a tall order for the girls from Lusaka to overcome wounded and yet very charged Falcons who had hit the Moroccan capital at the beginning of the tournament with the hope of lifting the continental diadem for the 10th time.
Meanwhile Nigerians have continued to hail the team for their impressive performance despite semifinal defeat.
Many on social media and live radio programs maintained that the girls did their best especially playing with two women given marching orders in the early minutes of the second half.
They charged the girls to forget Monday’s disappointment and focus on teaching Zambia some football lessons in the third place match.
