Super Falcons converge in Abuja for WAFCON qualifier

Nigeria’s Senior Women’s Football team, the Super Falcons have resumed camping ahead of their final phase of the 2024 Women Africa Cup of Nations qualifier game against Cape Verde.

The nine-time African champions will trade with Cape Verde on Thursday, 30th November, 2023 at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium Abuja before their trip to Cape Verde for the deciding second leg match slated for Tuesday, 5th December, 2023.

Four of the marquee players at the 2023 Women’s World Cup are unavailable for this fixture against Cape Verde.

The Nigeria Women’s senior national team will have their first training session later on Tuesday on the pitch of the Main bowl of the Moshood Abiola stadium.

The pitch hosted the Nigeria Under-20 women’s national team 2-1 victory over Tanzania last week.
