Supercomputer picks Arsenal among UCL title favourites

According to the Opta predictor, holders’ Manchester City are the pre-tournament favourites to win this season’s Uefa Champions League, with a 39 per cent chance of retaining the trophy.

Arsenal – who are in Group B with Sevilla, PSV and Lens – have the third-best chance of winning the Uefa Champions League, with an 8 per cent probability.

The 14-time winners of the European Cup/Uefa Champions League, Real Madrid, have the fourth-best probability of winning this season’s edition (6 per cent), behind Man City, Bayern Munich and Arsenal.
