Table tennis: WTT Champions Macao To Return In 2023 WTT Series

World Table Tennis (WTT) is proud to announce that Macao, China will again host a WTT Champions event as part of the 2023 WTT Series marking the return of the sport to the country after the golden month of October 2022.

WTT Champions Macao will return to Tap Seac Multisport Pavilion from 17 to 23 April 2023, featuring the 32 best men’s and women’s singles players, including Wang Chuqin (CHN) and Sun Yingsha (CHN) who will defend their titles claimed at last year’s event.

With 1000 ITTF Table Tennis World Rankings points awarded to the winners, fans will be again treated to the excitement and energy that WTT Champions Macao will bring.

This marks the fourth time a WTT event is staged in Macao, China since 2020, a testament to the continuous support from the Special Administrative Region (SAR) and its people. It also heralds a long-term cooperation between WTT and the Macao SAR government, as the city is increasingly spotlighted as a global destination with each WTT event.

In addition to the world-class table tennis event, fans and players can expect to experience the sights and culture of the beautiful city of Macao, China, known for its stunning architecture, delicious cuisine, and vibrant nightlife. Players and fans will have the opportunity to explore the city and immerse themselves in its rich cultural heritage. From visiting historic landmarks such as the A-Ma Temple and the Ruins of St. Paul, to trying traditional Macanese dishes that are influenced by Chinese and Portuguese cuisine, there will be plenty of exciting activities to enjoy.
