Jose Mourinho is eager to recruit in his first transfer window since taking over from Mauricio Pochettino as the manager of Tottenham Hotspurs.
One of his targets this month was said to have been Borussia Dortmund striker, Paco Alcacer. However, the Daily Star say that Spurs were only looking to sign the 26- year-old on loan amid a key injury to Harry Kane.

Alcacer is instead looking for a permanent switch, meaning a deal between Tottenham and Dortmund looks unlikely at this stage.
