Transfer: Aldridge convinced Salah will leave Liverpool

Liverpool hero John Aldridge expects Mohamed Salah to leave for Saudi Arabia in 2024.

Aldridge wrote for the Sunday World: “He is now three behind Erling Haaland in the Golden Boot race and if Salah can get 25-30 Premier League goals this season, Liverpool will have a real chance to push for the title.

“There are so many goals in this team and Salah has become the cherry on the top of the cake.

“I still believe we could be witnessing Salah’s final year in a Liverpool jersey and I fully expect Saudi Arabia to come back in with another offer for him next summer.

“Liverpool could not turn down £200million again if the Saudis make the same offer they presented to try and get Mo a few months back.

“So Liverpool fans should every moment of Salah magic as one of Liverpool’s all-time great players might not be here for much longer.”
