Chelsea’s pursuit of Victor Osimhen could receive some encouragement as they continue to monitor affair of the player.

The Napoli and Nigeria forward is one of the most in-demand strikers in the world.

Per Fabrizio Romano, Osimhen looks unlikely to sign a new contract with the Naples-based team.

While Napoli want to tie him down, he is reluctant to commit to a long term contract.

That means Chelsea, who are huge admirers of Osimhen, may have a chance to swoop in with an offer.

Napoli do rate Osimhen at more than £100 million, especially in the January transfer window.
