Transfer: Iwuala moves to Kuwait on greener pastures

Nigeria’s Super Eagles winger Anton Emmanuel Iwuala has joined the Gulf club Al Arabi of Kuwait.

Iwuala spent last season with the Algeria side CR Belouzidad on loan from the Tunisia giant Esperance and he was able to score 5 goals and made 4 assists for the Algerian club.

Belouzidad approached the management of ESS Tunis to get him permanently but both clubs failed to agree on a fee.

The Kuwaiti League side Al Arabi on Thursday completed the signing of the Nigerian international as they continue their readiness for the season.

Iwuala joined ESS Tunis in 2020 from Nigeria’s premier league champions Enyimba International and he made his Super Eagles debut the same year.
