Transfer window: Arsenal in Real Madrid contact for Newcastle target Hazard

Arsenal are in contact with Real Madrid about bringing Eden Hazard back to London.

Mikel Arteta is reportedly keen to add Hazard’s experience to bolster his options across their front line to help turn the Gunners into title contenders.

During his time at Chelsea, Hazard was a menace for the Gunners, scoring seven goals including one in the Blues’ 4-1 victory in the 2019 Europa League final.

Hazard had previously been linked with a move to Newcastle over the winter transfer window, and the Magpies are said to still be interested in the playmaker.
