Transfer window: Leicester discuss compo with Rangers for Dr Waller

Leicester City are in talks with Rangers’ doctor, Mark Waller.

The summer break is likely to see City active in the transfer window as Brendan Rodgers looks to complete a ‘refresh’ of his squad. But it seems that additions could also be made to the backroom staff too.

As reported by the Telegraph’s John Percy, City have agreed compensation with Rangers for the doctor.

“Bit of #lcfc transfer news (sort of): Leicester are appointing #Rangers doctor Mark Waller to a similar position after agreeing compensation,” he wrote on Twitter.

“Dr Waller has previously worked with the Eng u21s, Liverpool & Villa, and his appointment is regarded as a huge coup ahead of next season.”
