Transfer window: Real Madrid coach Ancelotti clears Bale to join Wales squad

Real Madrid coach, Carlo Ancelotti, has said Gareth Bale is clear to join the Wales squad this week.

Bale missed Sunday’s home thrashing by Barcelona, but has joined up with his Wales squad.

After defeat at the Santiago Bernabeu, Ancelotti said: “He didn’t feel well yesterday after training.

“He tried this morning but he wasn’t up to playing.

“He’s now going to join up with his national team and they’ll decide whether he plays or not.”
