Transfer window: Real Madrid worried about Liverpool’spush for Monaco midfielder Tchouameni
Liverpool’s interest in AS Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni has kicked Real Madrid into action.
Marca says Los Blancos were aware of the interest of several Premier League teams in signing the midfielder and knew first-hand of the player’s desire to leave Monaco immediately.
Now, they have been faced with a problem. Tchouameni has not made a definitive decision. He is considering his options. Even Paris Saint-Germain looked into the midfielder, he doesn’t want to go there. He has bigger ambitions and doesn’t want to stay in Ligue 1.

The French international wants to play, and in recent weeks he’s been looking at all of the interested clubs and trying to see where he’s most likely to get into the XI.
He is looking for minutes so that he can play an important role in the national team with the World Cup in sight.
He has asked his teammates at Monaco if he will play ahead of Casemiro, Luka Modric, and Toni Kroos. Some have encouraged him to make the step up, and others have not.
