Traore: Moving to Real Madrid wouldn’t be a problem

Wolves will then make the trip to Spain for the reverse leg on Thursday the 27th of February.

Ahead of what should be a historic night for Nuno Santo’s side, Wolves’ Adama Traore has been speaking about a potential move to Real Madrid.

The Spaniard has come on leaps and bounds in recent years, going from a pacey, tricky winger who had little end product, to one of the best wingers in the English top-flight.

The 24-year-old has scored four and assisted seven in 25 Premier League outings this term.

And after an emphatic 2019/20 campaign, Traore has been linked with a return to his former club, FC Barcelona.

The Daily Mail reported earlier this month that Barcelona’s interest in re-signing Traore had intensified.

The reason for this, the Mail claimed, was out of fear that their bitter rivals Real Madrid could snap Traore up.

And it appears Barca’s reported fears could be justified as it sounds as though the La Masia graduate could be open to a Real Madrid switch at some point.

When speaking about a potential move to the Bernabeu, Traore stated:

“It wouldn’t be a problem for me.

“I don’t close the door to anything. Right now I am very happy here, the operation of the team is fantastic.

“But both Madrid and Barca will arrive when they have to arrive.” As quoted by the Mail.
