Two Nigerian strikers clash in French Coupe de la Ligue
Super Eagles pair of Victor Osimhen and Henry Onyekuru will clash in the French Coupe de la Ligue when Lille tackle on Monaco on Tuesday, December 17.
The encounter will take place at the Loius Stadium and it is the first of two clashes that will hold among the two Clubs within five days.
However, only a win can guarantee either side passage into the next round of the competition.
Interestingly, Osimhen, who has netted 11 times in 22 matches across all competitions for Les Dogues this season, is expected to lead the line for the Ligue campaigners, but the same cannot be said of his compatriot Onyekuru, who has struggled for game time since his arrival last summer.
The two clubs are also expected to clash again in a Ligue 1 fixture on Saturday, December 21.
