Uche Agbo Saves Dying Patient, Pays for Kidney Transplant

Super Eagles and Deportivo La Coruna midfielder, Uche Agbo, has stepped forward to foot the bills of a patient, diagnosed with chronic kidney disease.

Magdalene Maxwell 21, who hails from Badawa quarters, Nasarawa local government Kano state, is battling with two failed kidneys which signifies an end stage renal failure, she solicited for help through social media platforms when it was disclosed to her by doctors that to alleviate her sufferings, she had to be placed on monthly medications and 3 sessions of hemodialysis per week which will cost N218,200 monthly, but for a permanent solution being transplant for two kidneys will cost N3,500,000.

Uche Agbo,who got wind through social media and having grown up in the north felt the pains of the girl and her parents decided to pay the total cost of the operation in order to get a lasting solution.
The girl did not believe it when she got wind of a help coming from a super eagles player when she received the alert of three million and five hundred thousand naira,(#3,500,000)being cost of the whole operation took the breath out of her.
