UCL: Adoring young mascots show Osimhen love before Napoli-Braga duel

Napoli striker Victor Osimhen was shown plenty of love by a group of adoring young mascots in the tunnel before kick off in the Partenopei’s Champions League group stage match against Braga on Tuesday evening.

As the teams began to congregate in the tunnel, Osimhen, looking somewhat like the Pied Piper, was swarmed by a large group of kids who could not wait to give him hugs and high fives.

Reacting to the wholesome clip, one fan suggested that youngsters will begin supporting Napoli, just because Osimhen is their favourite striker.

On the pitch, Napoli were gifted an early present, as a calamitous piece of defending from Braga centre-back Serdar Saatci sent the ball past his own keeper to hand Napoli a 1-0 lead nine minutes into the first half.
