FIFA Gabe all participating countries in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup the sum of $960,000 for prepare the team ahead of the mundial that will commence soon.

The American gaffer last week hit the football body with strong words which generated a lot of controversies in the country’s football space.

In the two and half years that I have been here, I have never had one time that the federation comes to ask what do you need a coach?

What keeps me going is the players if not I would have walked away a long time ago from this job.

He also used the opportunity to demand for his outstanding payment of seven months and players’ match bonus and allowances of over two years being owed him by the NFF.

Up till about 3 months ago, I had been owed 14 months’ salary and then they paid 7 months, according to bsnsports report.

We still have players that hadn’t been paid for 2 years ago when we played the summer series in the USA, it’s a travesty.

I’m not going to be quiet anymore, In October every country was given $960,000 from FIFA to prepare for the world cup, where is that money?

FIFA allow your staff to be 22 but we have only 11, we don’t have scout to watch teams in our group or potential opponents”, he said.

In a swift response, the NFF through its media director, Ademola Olajire said the money was judiciously used in preparing the team for the tournament.

“Everyone knows FIFA pays preparation money for every team going to the World Cup. The team travelled to Japan to play matches, travelled to Mexico for a tournament and travelled to Turkey to play matches.

“The team is presently having a 15-day training camp in Gold Coast. Is it Mr Blabbermouth Waldrum who has been paying? He claims he’s been at the job because of the players. Bollocks,” he said.

He further labelled him the worst coach for the Super Falcons ever.
