WCQ: Amoo dreams Super Eagles debut against Ghana’s Black Stars

Akinkunmi Amoo says he’s honoured to be among the Super Eagles players invited for World Cup qualifiers against Ghana’s Black Stars.

Amoo, who narrowly missed out on the 2021 African Cup of Nations in Cameroon, finally earned his first senior national call up for the game.

The young midfielder has now joined the long list of players who have represented Nigeria at the U17 to senior level.

‘I am honoured’, an excited Amoo said as he posted a photo of himself in Super Eagles kit for the first time.

The former Hammarby star will be hoping to make his debut for the three-time African Champions at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Friday.
