Super Eagles midfielder Ogenyi Onazi has spoken of the need for the team to respect their group opponents at the FIFA World Cup.

opponents at the FIFA World Cup.  Nigeria is in the same group with Argentina, Iceland and Croatia.

He also charged his colleagues to stick to the game-plan that will help the team qualify for the second round.

“The World Cup is no child’s play but we have to respect our opponents and still try to do our best to
ensure that we get the results that will take us to the next round of the tournament.

“Everyone is here with high spirits and we only have little injuries. We are waiting and hoping that we
are going to start on a high note.

“It will be my second World Cup if I make the team and I am hoping to correct some of the mistakes that  I made in Brazil four years ago if I am given the chance and also make sure that we make a difference.” Onazi told SportingLife.ng.

Onazi recalled was with the Eagles that were eliminated in the second round by France in Brazil in 2014.
