Barcelona coach Xavi has declared he wants Eric Garcia back next season.
The defender is currently on-loan with weekend opponents Girona.
Xavi said: “Yes (we want him back).
“I already had room this year. It was not our intention for him to leave but he left because of the fair play issue. I already explained it. But the idea is that he comes back.”

Today, Xavi also discussed midfielder Oriol Romeu, who has struggled for minutes since joining in August from Girona.
“I don’t think that was it (handling the pressure). He started well. Then he had some physical problems and we had to keep him safe. And then, it goes on performance. Here the competition is fierce, I have opted for other players and it is true that he has played less than he expected.”
