Why Osho will not play against Ghana and Mali

Nigeria’s Super Eagles will face the Black Stars of Ghana and the Eagles of Mali without its newly invited Luton Town defender Gabriel Osho.

The Nigeria Football Federation last week unveiled the list of 26 players that will prosecute the 2 matches and Osho’s name featured prominently on the list.

He missed the midweek game against Bournemouth due to injury and the team coach Rob Edward has confirmed that Osho will not recover in time for the weekend match against Nottingham Forest and will surely be out of the international games.

“He’s still in pain today, so not going to be good for tomorrow”, the coach said.

Osho has been outstanding for the Hatters this season despite their inconsistent performance.
