Belgian club Genk have given more insights to the new contract Paul Onuachu has signed.

Onuachu, 27, has extended his contract at Genk till June 2024.

Genk CEO Erik Gerits told HBvL the contract extension meant the striker gets a new salary and it will protect the Belgian club from Onuachu will not become a free agent after this season.

“We wanted to appreciate Paul for what he means to KRC Genk,” said Gerits.
