Williams sisters enjoy family time amidst title chase

The Williams sisters Venus and Serena are by every standard a force to be reckoned with on the tennis court even before each of them were ranked No. 1 in the world by the Women’s Tennis Association, beginning in 2002.

And while they have also partnered up to become doubles champions in their chosen sport, Venus and Serena Williams have confessed to being extremely close as sisters in their private lives.

That bond was put on display for all to see when older sis Venus shared a series of photos on Instagram of the two ladies enjoying some quality time together in-between matches at the 2021 Australian Open in Melbourne.

In all, Venus posted four photos of the pair getting cheeky with each other while out enjoying a meal in a restaurant while both dressed in Gucci ensembles.

There’s another image where she flashes a peace sign behind her baby sister’s head, and a third as she gives Serena an adoring look.

“The Scenes: Big sister acting like the little sister and then me staring at my true love @serenawilliams #sisters,’ Venus, 40, captioned the moment.

Serena, 39, reciprocated in the last of the series by sticking her tongue out as she threw up a peace sign of her own.

Serena won her second round match against Serbia’s Nina Stojanović, and will now face Anastasia Potapova of Russia in their third round match on Thursday (Today).
