Wolves ahead of Arsenal for Emmanuel Dennis signature

Wolverhampton Wanderers have moved ahead of other Premier League clubs to sign Emmanuel Dennis from Club Brugge as they seek to strengthen their attack.

According to a Eurosport report, Wolves are looking for a back up for Raul Jimenez with Dennis emerging as a possible target following his performance in Europe this season.

The forward has scored nine goals across all competitions, including a brace against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

However, the Midlands outfit is expected to face competition for the Nigerian’s signature, with Arsenal, Everton, Newcastle United and Leicester City among the other clubs rumoured to be interested.

Dennis has directly contributed to 11 goals in 33 appearances this term, including five in Brugge’s title-winning campaign.
