Xavi confirms contact with Barcelona president Laporta
Al Sadd coach Xavi has confirmed contact with Barcelona president, Joan Laporta.
Speaking with Bein Sport, Xavi analysed the victory of Laporta.
“Laporta is a good friend, I know him well,” said Xavi. “He’s the best president that I’ve had.

Barcelona will return to the top in terms of sporting results and economically.
“There are problems to resolve but he can do it all. I wish him the best. I’m in contact with him and I’m very happy.”
Victor Font, a rival for the presidency, had bet big on Xavi as the main man in his project, but it seems that the legend will have a role to play at Barca in the future either way.
