You changed my life, tearful Osimhen tells former club Charleroi

Nigeria international, Victor Osimhen got a surprise visit from his former club, Sporting Charleroi on Wednesday.

Charleroi officials led by Mehdi Bayat watched the match which Lille lost 2-0 against Ajax in a Champions League encounter.

An excited Osimhen despite the loss showed how excited he was receiving the delegation.  Champions League match in the Lille stadium before finding Osimhen.

“If I’m here today, it’s thanks to you all,” said Victor Osimhen. “Charleroi will always be the club of my heart and I hope that I can finish my career there,” said Osimhen who was moved to tears.

The Lillois then wanted to deliver a little word to Mehdi Bayat. “I can not thank you enough,” said Osimhen. “I remember the 10 minutes of conversation in your office, you really changed my life forever, you all made my career amazing.”
