2018 FIFA WORLD CUP: Eagles must have a winning mentality– Obi

Nigeria’s Joel Obi has said that the Super Eagles will need to have a winning mentality to achieve their target at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

The Torino FC of Italy midfielder is making a comeback to the team, four years after his last game.

“In football you have to try and win. A winning mentality is important for the team. So if you want to go to the next stage you have to win.

“The World Cup is an important tournament and of course everybody is wants to be part of the trip to Russia. I think we have to take it easy, work everyday and see what is going to happen,” Obi said.
