Ben Akwuegbu FC Thrash Adamu Jumba FC in NLO

One of the emerging grassroots football club’s in the country, Ben Akwuegbu FC continued its imperious form in the ongoing 2024 NLO season with a 3-1 thrashing of Adamu Jumba FC. 

The Plateau-based side, who began their campaign in the Bauchi Centre of the NLO with a 2-0 showcased brilliance in the second game against Adamu Jumba FC. 

In-form striker, Dayo Habib was on the scoresheet again as the semi-finalist of the 2024 Plateau State Federation Cup have amassed 6 points from two games.

According to the league body, the winners and the runners-up from each centre will face off in a round-robin format.

The overall winner will be selected through a playoff at the end of the season.

Eight teams will be promoted to the Nigeria National League, NNL, next season.
