2019 Afcon Qualifier: Libya afraid of Musa

Libya coach Adel Amrouche has identified Ahmed Musa as the player they must stop when they take on Nigeria in next month’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations double header.

Nigeria will host the first leg on October 13 at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo with the reverse fixture billed for Tunisia in three days time.

However, Amrouche who has studied Musa to know how dangerous he can be with the ball has told his defenders to make sure that they put him in check to prevent him from having access to the ball.

The Libyans who presently top Group E with four points are not ready to take anything for granted as they plot Nigeria’s fall both home and away to brighten their chances of picking the group sole ticket.

Players are expected to report to camp on October 3 ahead of their trip to Nigeria which they plan to storm aboard a chartered flight.
