Enugu State Football Association (ENSFA) said that the 2019 Enugu State Veteran League tagged ” 042 Veteran League’ has been postponed till November 9.
The ENSFA Secretary, Francis Ugwu made the disclosure in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Enugu on Thursday.
Ugwu told NAN that the postponement was necessary owing to some technicalities which may work against the league.
He said the match venue, date and time collided with other activities.
”We have chosen Rangers Training Pitch inside the Liberty Center but it will delay as we are restricted to limited time.
”This is a league for ageing ones and they do not need distraction so we have to make arrangement for other venue,” Ugwu said.
He noted that the league would have started on Friday Nov. 1 as scheduled if not the lapses.
Ugwu confirmed that the fixtures remained the same adding that he would give update on the new venue, time and days.

NAN reports that the league was being sponsored by Ugochinyelu Foundation and only people who have attended the age of 40 and above are qualified to participate in the tournament.
