So far, the Eagles have not lost any friendly under head coach, Gernot Rohr.

The Buraspor of Turkey said football remained a collective effort.

“We learnt a lot from the game and it will help in areas we need to improve on,” he said at the post match conference.

“This is a team for the future. We had Brian Idowu in the left back and goalkeeper Francis Uzoho who were making their full debut for the team. it is promising to see that we were able to organize ourselves very well.

“We should also recognize the fact that we played without our captain, John Mikel Obi and still keep a clean sheet regardless of the chances our opponents had,”he said.

Nigeria take on Serbia next week Tuesday in its second friendly in London.
