Katsina United technical Adviser, Abdullahi Biffo has already set his sight on his team’s rescheduled matchday 11 of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) game against Akwa United on Thursday in Katsina.

Katsina United suffered a 2-1 loss to Mountain of Fire and Miracle Ministries (MFM) in the matchday 14 encounter on Sunday at the Agege Stadium Lagos.

Biffo told Sportinglife.ng that his team has put the loss behind them to focus on Thursday’s game.

“It was a game. It has come and gone and we won’t dwell too much on it. The two teams played very well only that our goalkeeper succumbed to a little pressure to concede the first goal. Again, we missed two of our key players in the match. I am not saying the players that played did not do well but their presence could have been an advantage to the team. Nevertheless, it was a good game.
“We have another game on Thursday against Akwa United and we will try to get it right and we can’t afford to make mistakes in the match. We will give everything to the game to get three points,” Biffo told Sportinglife.ng.

The players and officials of the team were airlifted back home by the management from Lagos on Monday in order to have a proper preparation for the Akwa United game.

The team left Lagos to Kano with Azman airline before connecting a bus to Katsina.

“The management has done their part and it is now left for the team to reciprocate the gesture with a win over Akwa United.”
