World Boxing Champion, Anthony Joshua has called out Word Boxing Council (WBC) champion, Deontay Wilder after Saturday’s night victory over Joseph Parker in their unification bout in Cardiff.

In front of a sold out crowd of over 80,000 spectators, Joshua added Parker’s World Boxing Organization (WBO) crown to his heavyweight titles in a unanimous decision.

Following his victory, Joshua reached out to Wilder’s camp for a fight.

“Remember that I am the unified heavyweight champion of the world.

“That is 21 professional fights with six world title fights in it

“Don’t believe the hype about him. People who know me know I don’t do that, so we will sit down, my team and Eddie Hearn
and then they can talk to his time and Al Hamon, then we’ll see.

“Just like Dillian said… Let’s gooooo!, ” he told the media.

Joshua now holds four of the world’s five heavyweight titles.

The fight went the full twelve rounds with Joshua controlling much of the fight.

No Joshua fight has ever gone beyond 11 rounds.

He asserted himself early in the fight as Parker came out swinging but struggled to get close.

The New Zealand boxer was unable to penetrate Joshua.

In the 10th round, Parker sustained a cut to his left eye.

Two judges gave it to Joshua by a margin of 118-110, with the third scoring it 119-109.

It was the 21st win for Joshua and the first defeat for Parker in 25 bouts.
