Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has admitted that Tuesday’s UEFA Champions league quarter final clash against Real Madrid  will be a tough one.

Juventus host the defending champions in the first leg in Turin and Buffon who is still eyeing his first ever Champions league title has admitted it would not be easy beating the defending champions.

“I know and I also know that I am 40 years of age, so I’ve not changed too much. We hope that this time it will all be different and that we can change the feeling of what happened in Cardiff.”

“There is no explanation, but I’d like to start winning the finals. The same thing has happened to us against Barcelona. We can win a clash of 180 minutes, but lose over 90. We will have to start playing 180 minutes in the finals. It’s hard to find an explanation, but it shows that we do know how to play at this level. It’s clear that teams don’t play the same when a match is 90 minutes long and not 180 minutes.

Los Blancos put four past Buffon and Juventus in last season’s final on their way to La Duodecima.
