Kano Pillars striker, Junior Lokosa feels he deserves a look in by the Super Eagles technical crew after his blistering start to the season which has seen him score 14 goals from 14 games inthe Nigeria Professional Football League.

Lokosa underlined his high credentials in front of goal on Wednesday when he netted twice in Pillars 4-0 hammering of FC IfeanyiUbah and told SportingLife afterwards that it will be a dream come true if he is handed a call to the senior team.

“It is the wish of every player to play for the national team and if I am given the chance I will grab it with both hands. I think I have done well in the season to be considered,” Lokosa told SportingLife.ng.

“I am not saying that I am better than those already there but I hope to contribute my quota to help the Eagles get goals at the World Cup in Russia. I am not desperate about it but if I am given a chance I will be so glad.”

The former First Bank attacker says he is still evolving and that he is still trying to work on other aspects of his game to ensure he becomes a better striker.
