Eagles need our prayers—Maigari

Former Nigeria Football Federation President Alhaji Aminu Maigari has charged football stakeholders in the country to give their unflinching support to the senior national team, the Super Eagles in their quest to lift the FIFA World Cup trophy in Russia.

 

 

Former Nigeria Football Federation President Alhaji Aminu Maigari has charged football stakeholders in the country to give their unflinching support to the senior national team, the Super Eagles in their quest to lift the FIFA World Cup trophy in Russia.

Maigari who made this call in Abuja at the wedding ceremony of Honourable Sulieman Kwande, said for the Eagles to do well , Nigerians and football stakeholders must work together as only the board of Nigeria Football Federation can’t do it alone.

Maigari who was held up for an hour at the occasion by football administrators both past and present and other
stakeholder who took pictures with him including the incumbent NFF president Amaju Pinnick.

“You all know that football is a religion in Nigeria and Nigerians are passionate about it. We must pray and support the Eagles irrespective of who is there for now. We should also pray for our players to be injury free during the world cup,” said Maigari

The Bauchi born Foootball Administrator thanked the Federal Government led by President Muhammadu Buhari for the total support given to the team to ensure Nigeria’s qualification.
