CAF Confederation Cup: Enyimba in, Akwa United out

The Aba giants are through on the away goals rule after pulling a 1-1 draw in Johannesburg a fortnight ago.

Elsewhere in Uyo, Akwa United were unable to comeback against Al Hilal of Sudan. despite a 3-1 victory at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.

Al Hilal qualified following their 2-0 win in the first leg in Sudan. The Sudanese club took the lead before Akwa United fought back to score three goals.

Denis Nya drew Akwa United level in first half stoppage time.

Michael Ibe then netted twice in the second half, but the home team failed to get the all-important fourth goal that would have taken them to the group stage of the competition.
