Barley 50 days to the kick-off of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia on June 14 to July 15, Super Eagles Coach Genort Rohr has expressed worries with his defence.

Nigeria starts its World Cup campaign against Croatia on June 16 at the Kaliningrad Stadium, but the German coach has revealed his fears due to injuries and lack of playing to some of his defenders.

Leon Balogun and Tyronne Ebuehi were injured while William Troost-Ekong has not been playing under new coach, Mustafa Er at Bursaspor FC in Turkey.

“Eagles defence is my problem; Ekong is not playing under the new coach at Bursaspor FC. Leon Balogun is injured, Tyronne Ebuehi is also injured. This is a real major problem for us because of the limited time we have to plan for the World Cup.”
