Yaya Toure hopes for EPL return after dumping Olympiakos

Reports have it that Yaya Toure will arrive back in London later this week as he is set on a move back to the Premier League.

As gathered the 35-year-old Manchester City and Ivory Coast legend – who was granted British citizenship in August – has his family home in London, and has already turned down offers from the Chinese Super League and MLS.

Toure left Olympiakos ‘by mutual agreement’ this week after making just five appearances for the Greek giaints.

He was substituted in each of his three starts for the club, coming off at half-time of a shock defeat to OFI Crete.

The reasons for his departure are believed to centre around the club not being able to afford his pay-as-you-play deal as their budget came under financial restrictions.
