Nigeria’s U-17 national team, the Golden Eaglets have been confirmed to take part in an invitational tournament in Turkey aimed at preparing the team for this year’s U-17 Africa Cup of Nations in Tanzania.
The AFCON tournament also serves as the World Cup qualifies.
The competition kicks off on February 22 to March 2 and it will involve 12 teams split into three groups.
Nigeria defeated Ghana in the qualifies in Niger last year to qualified for the Nations Cup.
Four countries will represent Africa at the FIFA U-17 World Cup billed for Peru later in the year.

Nigeria have won the FIFA U17 World Cup a record five times with the last coming in 2015.
