The remains of Mrs. Sarah Moses, the mother of Super Eagles assistant captain, Ahmed Musa, will be laid to rest this weekend.
SportingLife.ng gathered that the two-day event will take place at Afuze, Owan East Local Government Area of Edo State, Nigeria today and tomorrow.
A source revealed to SportingLife.ng that dignitaries from the football family will be at the funeral to honour the Al-Nassr FC of Saudi Arabia striker.
The former Kano Pillars forward announced the death of his mother on Thursday, January 24, 2019.
Musa, who is on the 25-man list invited for the Super Eagles camp for AFCON preparation, arrived in the country last weekend.
Musa won the Saudi Arabia Professional Football League title with Al Nassr on Thursday following his club Al Nassr’s 2-1 home win against Al Batin at the King Fahd International Stadium, Riyadh.

The 26-year-old scored seven goals in 24 league appearances for Al Nassr in the just-concluded season.
