Eagles Hold Recovery Session, hit Cairo Monday after lunch

Super Eagles had a recovery session at their Helnan Palestine Hotel on Sunday morning as they get set to hit Cairo on Monday for Wednesday’s Africa Cup of Nations quarter final encounter against South Africa’s Bafana Bafana.

The Eagles defeated defending champions Cameroon 3-2 at the Alexandria Stadium on Saturday while South Africa shocked host nation, Egypt by a lone goal to reach the last eight.

Those who were part of the light session were those that did not play on Saturday while those who played spent time at the beach.

The team will depart Alexandria for Cairo after lunch on Monday.
