Eagles double header victory: Lille hails Osimhen’s performance
French Ligue 1 side Lille have no atom of regrets signing Super Eagles ace Victor Osimhen from bundesliga side VfL Wolfsburg.
The club Monday described the Nigerian international as a reliable player they are very proud of.
The commendation was coming few hours after the 20 year old who is gradually turning into a goal scoring machine, grabbed a brace to ensure that Eagles flew above Crocodiles of Lesotho in the ongoing 2021 Nations cup qualifiers.
Osimhen who has scored over seven goals in nine appearances for Lille pitched tent with the side in July this year and interestingly announced his arrival at the club with a brace against Nantes on August 11.
Osimhen who recently clinched French Player of the month award has lately become the toast of many clubs even as Lille have shown no sign of readiness to listen to any suitors.

Among clubs eager to have Osimhen whose current value is put at about €15m (about N5.9billion ) in their squad include Newcastle, Southampton and Ajax while La liga and Bundesliga giants Barcelona and Bayern Munich are equally said to have him on their radar.
