Women Afrobasket MVP, Ezinne Kalu has emerged the new ambassador of AFA Sports, the official kit
company of the D’Tigress.
The point guard’s impressive display was instrumental to Nigerians back-to-back victory at the Women
Afrobasket in Dakar, Senegal early this month. The Nigerian team defeated host Senegal 60-55 in the final to record the famous win.
Kalu, who is happy with her exploits in Senegal, said she was happy to be a member of AFA Spots family. “I am still in shock but I do know how hard we all worked to secure this title. Although I’m so grateful to have been awarded team MVP, it was a collective effort and every time I step out on that court with my
team members, I am filled with gratitude that I get to do what I love every single day.
