“Samuel Chukwueze and Olaoluwa Aina are injured in our match against Benin Republic. But the team Doctor has confirmed that they had knocks, not serious injuries. So we have to be careful the way we manage these injuries”, Rohr said.
The Franco-German Coach has now tipped his team for another victory away to Lesotho as a result of having more time to train and prepare for the November 17 (2019) Africa Cup of Nation cracker against Lesotho.
“We travel to Lesotho on Saturday for the next match. The team will be stronger now because we will have two more days to prepare for Sunday match against Lesotho, unlike a single training we had against Benin Republic.
“Also my team played better in the second half against Benin Republic which gave us that 2-1 victory. So if we can a little bit better than the way we played in that second half in Uyo then it will be able to push us to another victory in Lesotho.
“Thursday (yesterday) training was meant for two things. For those that played against Benin Republic, it was a light training for recovery. The other part full training for those that did not play against Benin Republic.
“Then on Friday (today) we will have our normal full training for all the players in Camp before we travel. So in Friday training and the only session we will have in Lesotho will be to put together the team that will play the match”, Rohr said.
