Angers 1- 2 Bordeaux: Samuel Kalu hits goal No.3

Super Eagles forward Samuel Kalu scored his third goal of the season as Bordeaux defeated Angers 2-1 in the French Ligue 1 game on Tuesday night.

SportingLife.ng reports that the Nigeria international put Bordeaux ahead in the 31st minute but Croatian midfielder Mateo Pavlovic equalized midway through the second half.

Yann Karamoh however scored an injury-time winner after dribbling from the halfway line to give Bordeaux the victory that helped move the coach Éric Bedouet side up to 11th place on the league table.

Before the festive period break, Kalu opened his goal account for Bordeaux 1-1 draw with Amiens in a French Ligue 1 game played on December 23, before netting an amazing goal that secured victory Le Havre in a French League Cup encounter played on January 9.

The 21 year old Kalu is expected to return to action when Bordeaux take on Dijon FCO in their next Ligue 1 fixture scheduled for Saturday, January 19.
