Arsenal Legend, Wright backs ref for booking Saka over diving incident

Arsenal legend, Ian Wright says England referee, Mike Dean was right to have booked Arsenal youngster, Bukayo Saka for diving during Monday’s premier league clash against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.

Wright also cautioned Saka against play-acting if he wants to take his game to the next level.

”When you see it from the other angle there is no contact, nothing. He’s actually started to jump before… he is young he’ll learn from that.

”He is waiting for the contact, that’s what everybody does now but he didn’t get any, so he was rightly booked for that,” he said after the match.

The Gunners who lost the match by a lone goal thought they had won a penalty in the 35th minute when Saka went down inside the 18-yard box but it was overruled by the referee who gave Saka a yellow card for diving.
