Arteta has worst Arsenal record than last four managers

Arsenal’s boss, Mikel Arteta, has been tagged ‘the worst manager’ among the last four coaches of the club.

The Gunners slumped to a shock 1-0 defeat at relegation-threatened Aston Villa on Tuesday night.

Arteta has won just eight of his first 19 games, drawing six and losing five.

Through his first half-season, Unai Emery amassed a whopping 11 wins, including just three defeats – a total of 38 points.

Emery’s predecessors, Arsene Wenger and Bruce Rioch, both performed better than Arteta, too.

The pair boasted an identical record in their first 19 league games, winning eight and losing four with seven draws, for 33 points, reports The Sun.
