Zinedine Zidane wants Real Madrid to sign versatile Bayern Munich player David Alaba
The German champions are eager to keep the three-star players, who are all out of contract in 2021, but are yet to reach an agreement with any of them.
“All players appreciate playing for FC Bayern. They want to win titles. This also applies to Manuel Neuer. That’s why we want to keep him, David Alaba and Thiago. But it’s not only up to us. The players also have to agree. Some are considering whether they want to play somewhere else before they retire. That is their right. But I’m optimistic,” Hainer told Sport1 Doppelpass on Sunday.
According to Hainer, there are still ‘a few details’ to be sorted out between Bayern and each of the players.
“It’s sometimes about money, sometimes about the length of the deal and sometimes about regular playing time,” he said.
FC Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said on Sunday that he’s confident that Manuel Neuer will be signing a new deal in the near future.
